Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 série 2, 1970, Amaranto

This wonderfull 1750 serie 2 has a great and documented history, with only two owners : First owner living in Firenze, bought the car new and sell it in December 1972 to Fabio Mannuci living in Sienna, who keep the car till 2018.

The car spend 40 years in the dry climate of Tuscany, in Italy and was always stored inside the second owner garage. Beginning of the 2000 years, the car was stopped and stored in the owner barn for more than 20 years. As you can see in the original pictures from the second owner archives, the car was in perfect condition after its long term storage, thanks to the nice climate.

We get the car in its great condition, totaly original, never restored, first lack in a stunning « Rosso Amaranto » color wich is unbelievable now ! Even the car was recouverte of huge amount of dust and bird mess, it was in great condition and still with its original and optional aluminium ATS wheel with 'Alfa Romeo' hub caps. This car spent most of its life in the warm and dry climate of Tuscany and has covered a mere 85,000 kilometres from new. It is completely original and has never suffered from any corrosion or bodywork damage. All the factory spot welds are visible in the correct places, including the sills, drip rails and wheel arches. The interior is also totally original with the lovely Skai Cuccio Cinghiala seats. All the Carello light units, as well as the chrome and stainless-steel finishers are original and in excellent condition.

Come with the car, all Italian original documents, first and second owner Italian Registration documents, all Alfa Romeo first delivery documents and brochures such as 'Use e manutenzione', and a lot of original pictures from the second owner. We carried a nut and bolt and 'Concours' restoration between 2018 and 2020, in one of the best Italian welder, Scuderia Bigazzi in Poggibonsi (FI), in a very high level. As you can see in the pictures, we kept as many original body parts as possible, only the front valance was replaced. All Front and rear Floor pan, wings, Outer, middle and Inner sills, front boot and rear bootlid, doors are 100% original.

So even after restoration, the car remains in 100% original condition with all the body parts it had when living the Arese factory in 1970, more than 50 years ago! The body was repainted in its original and Matching 'Rosso Amaranto' color, in a very high standard.

Opportunities to acquire examples as original as this are incredibly rare, made even more special by this car being painted in arguably the best colour - 'Rosso Amaranto'.
